Let’s be real…kid cookbooks are lame. Trust me, I’ve bought my fair share of kid cookbooks, and the truth is they always end up at the local thrift stores because they just aren’t excited about them….even though they want to be in the kitchen making something. They either are too basic, full of foods kids don’t want to eat (sorry roasted cauliflower steaks), or they are super involved crafts.  I wanted a kid cookbook that would help them every day with easy, tasty recipes for real breakfasts, lunches, snacks, dinners, desserts, and some fun and famous food. This is meant to help expand your kids horizons from cold cereal, pb & js and goldfish crackers every day. While every recipe will have a component they love, it’s meant to get them in the kitchen making delicious food that’s a step up from the kid norm!

    I never thought the kids would take off with this cookbook as much as they have. They have made almost every recipe now. They are loving the independence and I am loving the yummy dishes they are feeding me. The best part is seeing their satisfaction and pride in their work.
