Bread making is becoming a lost art, but believe me when I tell you it’s not hard and that when you learn how to do it, you’ll never go back.  I mean why would you?  There’s literally no better smell than homemade bread and nothing that tastes better, or is more comforting, then a freshly-sliced, steaming, right-out-of-the-oven slice of bread with melted butter dripping all through it.
